ABOUT RENNIE MAGUIRE

Rennie Maguire received instruction in 2004 to teach Superconscious Meditation, a classical yoga form, from the Institute of the Himalayan Tradition (IHT) in St. Paul, Minnesota. She received certification from IHT in 2009.

IHT preserves and passes on the ancient wisdom of the Himalayan sages through classes and teacher instruction in hatha yoga and meditation.

Maguire taught classes in Newport, Oregon from 2006 to 2012. Her clients included Oregon State University Extension, Lincoln County Employees and Samaritan Health Services. Since moving to Albuquerque in 2012, she teaches at Oasis Lifelong Leaning, the Jewish Community Center, and in various community settings.

She has an extensive background in corporate management and business to business sales and, as well as marketing for both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. In 2008, she established Rennie Maguire Marketing which developed public relations and fundraising campaigns, primarily for Food Share of Lincoln County, Oregon. She has been a hospice volunteer with Hospice de La Luz since 2016.

Maguire received a BS in English with minors in Philosophy and Education from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. She studied Business Management and Human Resources at the George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
